Players arriving at London Stadium
|
We're getting up there early on Saturday and my son is keen to see the players arrive, which I'm trying to balance with my wish to get down the boozer for the manc derby. Does anyone have any idea if it's even possible to see the players arrive, if so when and if any will stop and sign autographs etc. Been a few years since I was into all that caper myself.

They get the Jubilee from Canary Wharf at quarter past 12. Catch them as they walk past McDonalds in Westfield.

Payer and Nobes actually thanked me personally for pointing out on here that PML would be open.
It's a tough one this as the car park is totally segregated from thw plwb aeeaa. So it may be that they only allow a certain number in to get autographs.

I heard they come in by U-Boat down the navigation channel and through a secret underground waterway straight into the changing rooms so you have no chance

I'm not sure anyone knows, tbh.
Isn't there a car park round the lea side? If assume they'd have to come in that way. Hang around near that car park, and bob's your uncle I'd say.

Will the away teams players/fan coaches be plotted up in the same area, Gav?

Yeah. It's on the loop road next to the south entrance to the stadium.

Away coaches then plot up on the loop road itself on the way towards white post Lane bridge after the game.

A logistical nightmare for the OB I should imagine against some more of our savoury opponents.

Yeah which I'm sure is the real reason why the safety cert for 60k plus is still an issue. They need to see how it goes for a traditionally bigger game before granting it.
